Beatles' limbs removed for new cover

Record company bosses have decided to erase Beatles' limbs from the cover of the bonus compilation
Capital Albums Volume 2.5. The bonus set Capital Albums Volume 2.5 will include rarities and alternate takes of the songs found on Volume 2.
The compilation album is due for release on April 3, but the cover will not be in its original form. The new cover will still feature the Beatles, though one limb of each member has been removed.
The move is designed to reflect awareness of prosthetics and help those with missing limbs not feel alienated from society.
This is not the first time a Beatles cover has been censored over the issue of smoking - in the mid-eighties when "I Wanna Hold Your Hand" was released by EMI in America, a cigarette that Paul was holding was removed from the cover in a similar move. Also, the cover of the "Real Love" CD single had cigarettes removed. And of course Volume 2 has the cigarettes removed.
An anonymous source at Capital said that there might be an underlying reason for the move - to coax Sir Paul McCartney into extending his contract with Capital. It is well known that his wife, Heather Mills McCartney, has a prosthetic leg and is an activist in the field.
Our source at Capital also revealed that the altering of The Beatles might at some future point extend to digitally altering some of the lyrics to their songs on upcoming re-releases. For example, on "I'm So Tired", the original line:
Will be changed to:
Apple Records has issued no official statement on these changes.
