EAR CANDY MAG - MARCH 2012

Pre-Revolver
The Beatles Decide On An Album Title...

Intro:
After the Lennon-influenced cover idea for the U.S. "Yesterday...And Today" (It HAD to be Lennon that insisted that the butcher photo be used!) was abandoned, the band had to come up with a title for their next LP.

Some of the title ideas included: "Abracadabra", "Four Sides of the Eternal Triangle", "Magic Circles", "Beatles on Safari", and "Pendulum".

Ringo jokingly suggested "After Geography", a parody of The Rolling Stones' recently released "Aftermath" album.

Using some Robert Whitaker photos, a cover was designed using the name, "After Geography". Alas, the title, "Revolver" was ultimately used, with the now familiar Klaus Voorman artwork.
