After much thought, I have decided to sell EAR CANDY. It is not a decision that I came to lightly, but I've had a personal issue (my wife's health problems) that warrants my complete attention. Over the last year, I thought that I could carry on EAR CANDY despite everything, but I simply can't give it the magazine the time it deserves. At first I thought I could find "assistants" to help me with the everyday running of the magazine. I've tried to find people to assist me with EAR CANDY, and although I've contacted tons of very talented writers, none of them had the html skills necessary. That seems to be the basic problem I've had - although I have many people who write for EAR CANDY, I am the one who has done all the html layouts/image sizing myself. Meanwhile, I have a huge backlog of material that is ready...but needs html coding to be ready for issue. This includes various reviews, interviews, essays, etc. Hence, my decision to sell EAR CANDY. What is the asking price? Hell, I don't know - EAR CANDY has NEVER been about 'making money', and whatever money the sale itself brings in will simply go to recent expenses at home (without going too much into detail, it involves my wife's illness). I just want to get EAR CANDY back-on-track and concentrate on the matters at hand. Here are a few details on the site:
The only 'clause' in the sale would be the agreement to post all the pending articles as a priority before any new content. If you are interested in EAR CANDY mag, just drop me a line at: earcandy_magazine@yahoo.com and we can discuss it.
